What Kind Of Dog Is Okay/Good To Have Around Pet Birds?
December 17th, 2009I am very familiar with birds but not very experienced with dogs. As a child, I had 3 dogs (mixed species) who were really good around our birds. However, as an adult, I have never had a dog around my birds. I’d like to get a dog someday and prefer bigger dogs than little dogs. How Can I Help My Cat Adjust To The New Cats?
December 15th, 20094 months ago I adopted 2 cats from the local animal rescue and the cat that has lived here for about 4 years has still not adjusted to these 2 new cats or the 2 additional ones I adopted 2 months ago. The first cat took refuge downstairs in my rec-room on the coach and will only leave that spot to eat and use the litter box(usually) sometimes I find pee/poop on the coach. I have tried everything from keeping them separated to keeping them in the same room. When any of the 4 new cats(2 are still kittens) go near her she just screams bloody murder. Will she ever adjust or should I consider something else?
What Cat Food Is Good For Indoor Senior Cat With A Sensitive Stomach?
December 13th, 2009My cat, who is 18 years old, has recently developed quite the sensitive stomach. He has an upset tummy nearly every day, & I think it’s probably his food. I’m trying to find one that fits all 3 qualifications, but I can’t seem to find a cat food for senior and sensitive stomach. He’s been eating Iams indoor senior formula, and I’m considering switching him to Nutro Senior, because it says it’s easy to digest. Has anyone else used Nutro, or have any suggestions for a good brand of senior sensitive stomach food?
How Do You Get A Cat To Stop Biting?
December 11th, 2009Our cat is 6 months old. He loves attention, He rubs his body on my leg but when i go to pick him up to pet him, he tries to bite.
Also we have a 12 year old Lab/Retriever cross and the cat wont stop trying to chew on the dogs legs. Every time the cat tries to bite our dogs legs, our dog gets up and moves but the cat follows. Sometimes the dog barks at the cat to stop but he wont.
How do we get our cat to stop chewing and biting??
